BVNK secures direct SEPA access for 24/7 instant euro payments

We're excited to announce that BVNK has achieved direct access to the EU's SEPA payments scheme, as a technical partner in Bank of Lithuania's CENTROlink system. This is our first integration directly into a core European payment rail.

Until now, we've delivered 24/7 instant euro payments through banking partners. Direct access to CENTROlink changes how we operate. We now have our own BVNK virtual accounts with direct access to both SEPA Credit Transfer (SCT) and SEPA Instant (SCT Inst) rails.

This removes intermediaries from the payment flow, which means greater flexibility, independence, and resilience – which we can pass directly to our customers. We control settlement speed, uptime, and operational standards and we're not constrained by third-party operational decisions. This enables us to serve customers consistently, even when market conditions shift.

What this means in practice: our customers have 24/7 access to instant euro payments, delivered directly by us, settling in under 10 seconds (99% in under 5 seconds). There's no banking hours constraints, or exposure to third-party downtime. Our customers see BVNK on their statement when they receive payments through our accounts.

We're now the only licensed provider offering direct access to both instant SEPA euros and stablecoin payments through one platform, so customers can seamlessly move between traditional EUR rails and blockchain-based settlement.

Our SEPA integration has been fully tested with 95%+ payout success rates and 96% fully automatic processing. We've met SEPA's settlement requirements and we're ready to scale. We're rolling this out to our EU and global customer base now, with UK and US availability to follow.
