What is ISO 27001 and why does it matter?

ISO 27001:2022 is a globally-recognised security framework that assesses how an organisation protects customer data. To get this accreditation, BVNK had to undergo an extensive independent audit that evaluated our information security policies, procedures, reporting and governance structure, infrastructure, and risk management controls, across our entire business. 

Reaching the ISO 20071 standard demonstrates that we invest in security at every level of our organisation, from operational teams to the boardroom. It shows that we evaluate and effectively manage information security through each stage of product development, project management and decision-making.

For our customers, it's an assurance that we take information security seriously and we’re committed to handling sensitive information in a trustworthy way. It also means that we’ve reduced the risk of data breaches.

Our investment in information security is ongoing. As part of the ISO 20071 accreditation, BVNK is committed to being independently audited every year to ensure we continue to meet these high standards in information security.
