Meet Sean Byrnes, Head of Solutions - Americas at BVNK

Tell us about your role.

I work with enterprises to design the ideal combination of our digital asset and fiat payment solutions for their business, then stay with them through integration and go-live. Customers come with a business case, and my job is to architect their path forward. It's consultative work paired with deep technical execution.

What’s a typical day like?

It ranges from future-focused conversations with companies new to the space, to integration work or expanding into new use cases for our customers. One minute our team is whiteboarding strategy, the next we’re guiding implementations towards a successful launch.

The most rewarding part of this work?

Hearing the real-world impact. An Argentinian contract worker now has a secure way to protect their financial future. A business owner in Nigeria has better access to dollar liquidity. These aren't abstract whitepaper concepts anymore – global adoption of digital assets is improving real lives. 

Your advice for others considering this space?

You'll wear many hats, constantly adapt to an evolving industry, and operate in a fast-paced environment. But if you can embrace that – and appreciate that you're participating in one of the most significant moments in how value moves globally – it's unmatched.

Where can we find you outside the office?

Movies are a genuine passion (have you seen Project Hail Mary yet?!). I also fly a Cessna 172 and take friends up for aerial tours of the NYC skyline. I also enjoy long walks… on the golf course.
